Canyon country, with its shifting topography and scattered features, beckons seasonal wanderers like the Patagonia Drifter A/C. This mens trail shoe's breathable air mesh/nubuck leather upper durably handles varied terrain. Bellows tongue increases breathability and keeps out debris. Polyester air mesh lining keeps air circulating. Waterproof Bi-FitTM insole board is recycled (80% post-consumer) and lends stability and support. Anatomical footbed provides comfort and cushioning. Vibram® Trail Ecostep® outsole with recycled (30%) rubber has excellent traction. Get out there in a shoe you can count on, the Patagonia Drifter A/C Men.
The Drifter combines the comfort of lower-cut shoe construction with the full panoply of supportive hiking-boot features: a water-resistant, full-grain leather upper with bellows tongue, a dual-density recycled polyethylene/polyurethane insole for lateral support on uneven terrain, and a Vibram Ecostep (up to 30% recycled rubber) lug outsole. An air-cushioning disk in the EVA foam midsole (15% recycled) also helps heel stability. The synthetic-cork footbed (70% recycled) has a carbon component with antimicrobial qualities; the fast-wicking, quick-drying Capilene lining has natural odor control. The leather meets Leather Working Group standards for environmental stewardship.
